Holodomor
- Sunday 23rd November
The 75th anniversary of the Holodomor will be commemorated at the
Ukrainian Catholic Church of Our Lady of
Pochayiv and St Andrew in Edinburgh on Sunday 23 November.
The Sunday Liturgy @ 11 am will be followed by a special Panakhyda @ 12
noon, in memory of the millions of innocent Ukrainians who were
forcibly starved to death in 1932-33. Participants will hold a candle
in memory of the victims to display solidarity with Ukrainians
throughout the world who are also commemorating this anniversary. We
hope that as many Ukrainians and their families and friends will join
us for this very important event.
